Cradles, Cribs & Crayons Home Daycare,

We offer a loving and caring environment where children will find it fun to learn and play. We offer an up to date age appropriate curriculum. We offer healthy meals and snacks and we are food safe certified. I am educated with a degree in English and a minor in education. We also have nearly 30 years of raising six children.

Our children started having children so we both decided to take a step back from our current careers and start a home daycare. We are located on a quiet dead end street in Lincoln, Rhode Island. The house has passed state lead inspections, radon inspections, fire inspection, water inspections and DCYF home inspections. We have plans set in place in case of emergency, such as evacuation plans, and fire drills. The home is equipped with a first aid kit, smoke and carbon  monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers. Safety gates are in place where needed as well as railings at proper height for children.

Mary has taken introduction class offered thru DCYF and we both will continue to to take courses offered throughout the year to keep up with all new rules and regulations. Health and immunization forms have been filled out and handed in. CPR and first aid classes have been completed. We have had BCI checks and national fingerprinting done, which we can show to any parent so hey can see we have no records.

We offer competitive pricing as well as several discounts. Prices can be discussed on a one on one basis. Our hours of operation will be from 7 am until 6 pm Monday thru Friday, with some nights and weekends. Nights and weekends will be charged hourly while full time days will be charged by the day.

We have a schedule which we will hand out to parents. Of course there is room for change depending on the ages of the children. After drop off we will serve breakfast which will be served at a set time. We ask that all parents who wish for their child to participate in the breakfast program is sure to be here on time. After breakfast there will be set activities, play, block building, art, music and sing along, reading and others and then a healthy lunch will be served. We will discuss the menu on the prior week and send out menu to parents. After lunch there will be more activities including outside play time and naps. For those who don't nap we will have quiet activity time. Once you are given a pick up time try to be punctual.

                                                                                                                  Thank You Mary
